ImVitro is looking for a mission-driven founder’s associate to join our Paris-based company that aims at improving the in vitro fertilization (IVF) workflow. The ideal candidate is a person with a business background who has gone through at least one internship in a start-up like environment.
Today, one of the main medical solutions to infertility is in vitro fertilization (IVF). And yet, its success rates only come close to 20-30%, which means patients have to repeat this difficult journey all too often, or give it up altogether. At ImVitro, we aim to make IVF more transparent, robust and reproducible. Our vision is to create an easier path to parenthood to ensure families can take their planning into their own hands.
ImVitro is an early stage Deep Tech start-up backed by US & European VC funds. The company is backed by several accelerator programs (Entrepreneur First, Agoranov, TechCare), European and US-based VCs, and was selected as one of Station F’s Future 40 2019 start-ups.
Role and responsibilities
ImVitro is looking for a founder’s associate who will work closely with the CEO and other top management members on a variety of cross-departmental projects. This is a unique opportunity to be directly exposed to a fast-paced, demanding and exciting entrepreneurial ecosystem. The founder’s associate will shadow the CEO in many activities. The candidate will be in charge of:
- Producing monthly investor reporting & material for the board of directors and leadership team, ensuring materials are sent in advance,
- Assisting the CEO with regular administrative paperwork (HR, legal, accountancy) with the help of relevant consultants
- Assisting the CEO with organizing company-wide activities & retreats
- Perform market and competitive research
- Assisting the CEO with organizing the hiring and onboarding of candidates
More generally, this person should be open to assisting the CEO with a varying range of projects that she cannot deliver alone.
Skills
Above all, the person needs to be excited about the mission of the company, and needs to be driven, curious and resilient. The founder’s associate must be comfortable being autonomous, and have an incredible attention to detail.
- Great written and oral communication skills in English (we work in English!)
- Great written and oral communication skills in French (there will be french paperwork to deal with!)
- Outstanding analytical, organizational and presentation skills
- Speaking Spanish is a huge plus
